On Wednesday, a planning meeting for the Baltimore-Washington experimental mini-network (mini-SENSE) was held. Representatives from several universities, K-12 schools, NASA and NOAA, as well as members of our team met to discuss strategies for the deployment of ~20 sensor packages in the region in the next 1-2 months. We also discussed how schools and individuals can help out by hosting one of our sensor packages at little or no cost to them.  In exchange, we also discussed possible outreach and lesson plan ideas as STEM education resources for partner schools.
